Lloyd Belcher

From childhood, Lloyd has been hard-wired to exploring the outdoors and a camera is his exploration tool. Being drawn to where a strong narrative blends with athleticism and art, Lloyd filmed ‘Mira’ over 13 months starting in February 2015. From Kathmandu to Bhojpur and Hong Kong to Melbourne, Lloyd has worked closely with Mira in capturing her narrative. Working solo with no additional film crew on a project that is primarily in Nepali, ‘Mira’ ranks up there as being one of the toughest film challenges for Lloyd to date.
